The COIL Activate Circular Accelerator helps scalable businesses reach new markets through circular knowledge and practices.

Comments on Funding:

Funding and financing is up to $30,000. Businesses will have access to a $20,000 grant as well as an optional $10,000 loan offered through a 2-year term at 0% interest.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:

  • entrepreneurs with a passion for circular innovation;
  • businesses with a demonstrated track record of growth and an annual revenue of $200,000;
  • registered business in Canada and operational within southern Ontario.

Other Things To Note:

  1. COIL Activate is a program of COIL and Our Food Future, Guelph and Wellington County’s smart cities strategy to grow more circular businesses and collaborations across Ontario. The Activate Accelerator program is delivered through Innovation Guelph.
  2. Current program runs from November 1, 2022 – April 30, 2023.
