Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst – Cyber Accelerator Program

Catalyst Cyber Accelerator, a three-and-a-half-month program, is the first and only commercial accelerator of its kind in Canada, and is designed to help early-stage cybersecurity companies grow into industry leaders.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • be Canadian start-up companies;
  • be Canadian scale-up companies:
  • fit the following criteria:
    a) a mission dedicated to solving a compelling cybersecurity problem using innovative technology;
    b) a driven, coachable and collaborative leadership team with a clearly laid-out organizational roadmap;
    c) demonstrated monthly recurring revenue — for at least three consecutive months — from a viable product;
    d) at least one FTE dedicated to sales and revenue development;
  • be expected to maximize the available resources to help scale their business and are required to take time out of day-to-day business operations;
  • be proficient in spoken and written English;
  • have registered business operations in Canada.

Exceptions to the above criteria may be made on a case-by-case basis for promising companies in certain parts of the tech ecosystem.

Applications Steps:

Documentation Needed:

  1. Applicants (companies) must submit a completed online application form, including:
    a) an overview of their organization, product, market, leadership and journey to date;
    b) a pitch deck and/or demo video.
  2. If accepted into the program, companies will be required to provide business registration and insurance information before signing a confirmation of participation.

Other Things to Note:

1.The Catalyst Cyber Accelerator is supported by the Government of Canada, Rogers Communications and the City of Brampton.
2. Upcoming Cohort Dates:
a) Cohort 7 (January 2023 – May 2023);
b) Cohort 8 (May 2023 – August 2023);
c) Cohort 9 (September 2023 – December 2023).
