Comments on Funding:
No direct funding involved.
Throughout the program there are opportunities to network with the Venture Capital Fund and applicants will be able to pitch their products for investment. Accelerator companies are not guaranteed to receive investment, but Venturepark Labs specializes in helping entrepreneurs to develop their strategy and growth plans for when they actively apply for investment.
Near the end of the five-month program, graduates of the accelerator program participate in Demo Day, where they pitch their product to Canada’s top industry leaders and investors.
After the application is submitted, a Program Manager will review it and contact the applicant if its company is deemed a suitable fit for the accelerator. Venturepark Labs’ goal is to notify the final group of companies that are accepted within 8-12 weeks of the cohort launch.
Applicants must include in their application their company logo and a photo of their product.
Other Things to Note:
Applications are open for their 15th cohort (Fall 2022).
Venturepark Labs reviews applications year-round and acceptance is made on a rolling basis. The accelerator is delivered in fall and spring cohorts. The program is accessible and delivered remotely.
