Description:

Women in Trade Investments Program provides funding for Canadian women entrepreneurs in the form of equity capital through both direct investment and investment in Canadian venture capital funds. This support is meant to business development through export.

Comments on Funding:

EDC’s Women in Trade Investment Program provides equity growth capital or venture capital funds.

Eligibility:

The applicant must be:

  • Women-owned and -led businesses,
  • a company with more than $1 million in revenue with accelerating export growth.

Applications Steps:

Applicants must complete the online inquiry form at Product Inquiry | EDC and one of EDC’s trade advisors will respond as quickly as possible.
