Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mandate
The Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CEIE) works at the unique intersection of academia and entrepreneurship. It is housed under Toronto Metropolitan University’s Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science (FEAS), where it runs the Master of Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MEIE) program, and works closely with its startup incubator, the Innovation Boost Zone (IBZ).
CEIE is dedicated to provide the necessary entrepreneurial education to those who want to make an impact. It provides students with the mentorship and resources needed to turn their ideas into successful businesses. A central hub, it facilitates collaboration between students, faculty and potential investors. It also provides opportunities for seed funding via the Norman Esch Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awards and incubation via iBoost.
