EPICentre Mandate

The Entrepreneurship, Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre) is the hub for all entrepreneurial endeavours on the University of Windsor campus. From extra-curricular activities in their entrepreneurship centre to hands-on workshops in their makerspace, students from all disciplines have the opportunity to explore and practice entrepreneurial thinking and culture. Moreover, aspiring students and recent graduates from any post-secondary institution have access to mentorship, a collaborative co-working space and funding opportunities to start and grow their businesses.

EPICentre’s vision is to support the transformation of people into entrepreneurial thinkers, and innovative ideas into successful economic and social enterprises through training, mentorship and networking

EPICentre’s mission is:

  • To provide experiential entrepreneurial learning opportunities that enhance University of Windsor’s mission regarding education and research.
  • To provide skills, tools, and network to entrepreneurs and professionals to launch and grow economic and social initiatives.

EPICentre Priorities

EPICentre’s priority is supporting students and entrepreneurs despite the ever-changing challenges.

The University of Windsor has invited community members, students, faculty and staff to have their say on the University’s priorities in their next strategic plan, Aspire: Together for Tomorrow.

Types of Support EPICentre Offers

EPICentre offers competitions with cash prizes, programs that include mentorship, coaching, networking and funding opportunities, and more.
