Women Entrepreneurship Centre Mandate
The Women Entrepreneurship Centre (WEC), as part of the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, is dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs of every age, stage and culture to achieve their business dreams.
The WEC supports women entrepreneurs who are looking to start their business and supports women entrepreneurs who are looking to grow their business.

Women Entrepreneurship Centre Programs
Below are WEC’s specific programs:
- Indigenous Women Entrepreneur Program: A 7-week program for women who are developing a business idea aligned with Indigenous culture and values.
- Start My Business: A two-part 14-week program for new entrepreneurs who want to learn how to start and run a business.
- Grow My Business: A three-part 21-week program for established entrepreneurs who want to grow their business.
