Type of Program:
The Accessible Technology Program will co-fund innovative projects led by the private sector, not-for-profit organizations and research institutes to develop new assistive and adaptive digital devices and technologies in order to make it easier for Canadians with disabilities to more fully participate in the digital economy.
Comments on Funding:
Funding is up to $4 million per project per year and the need for the contribution must be clearly demonstrated by the applicant.
Total government funding is up to 100%.

June 2, 2020
January 2, 2021
The applicant must be a Canadian legal entity, including for-profit organizations, not-for-profit organizations, and research institutes.
The applicant must submit his name and contact information on Accessible Technology Program: Application Package to request an Application Package.
Other Things to Note:
The Accessible Technology Program will provide co-funding for up to 5 years to innovative projects beginning in the 2017-18 and ending in 2021-22. Project-based funding will be made available through continual national calls-for-proposals over the 5 years, subject to availability of funds. Approved projects must be completed by March 31, 2022.
