Type of Program:
The Professional Development for Arts Professionals of Supporting Artistic Practice supports the career growth of Canadian arts professionals by encouraging knowledge-sharing and participation in a wide range of development opportunities. Grants fund activities that contribute to the advancement of Canadian arts professionals.
Comments on Funding:
Funding will take the form of a grant of up to $10,000.
When It Ends:
The applicant must register in the portal at least 30 days before applying.
Applicant's eligibility is determined by the validated profile created in the portal.
Applications must be submitted any time before the project's start date.
Individuals may be considered for prizes based on information submitted with their application and their applicant profile. If they do not want to be considered for prizes, email firstname.lastname@example.org with OPT OUT in the subject line.
The applicant must provide:
- 1information about the project, its potential impact, their budget, the partners, training institutions or host organizations, if any,
- 2a budget,
- 3a one-page biography of mentors, if applicable.
Other Things to Note:
Application limits – One can apply to this component twice per year (1 March – 28/29 February).
