City of Mississauga – Digital Main Street Program (includes the Digital Transformation Grant)

Description:

Digital Main Street is a program that helps brick-and-mortar businesses achieve their digital transformation goals. This program is built around an online learning platform, structured training programs, and our Digital Service Squad, a team of digital experts who help brick-and-mortar businesses grow and manage their operations through digital tools and technologies.

Our DSS can provide one-on-one assistance with:

  1. Completing a Digital Assessment of your business

  2. Help complete the Digital Transformation Grant application ($2,500) – Application Deadline is November 30, 2021.

  3. Provide you with a free 360 degree image of your place of business. (value: $300)

  4. Teach owners how to enhance their existing web presence through tools such as Google My Business, social media, e-commerce, etc.

  5. Provide guidance, resources, and recommendations on growing digitally.

Comments on Funding:

This program includes a Digital Transformation Grant of up to $2,500.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • be brick-and-mortar businesses that have digital transformation goals;
  • be small businesses located in Mississauga;
  • be retail, food and beverage, professional services, health and wellness and other businesses. 

Other Things to Note:

Digital Main Street Program is a program for the entire province. All cities have this program which includes the Digital Transformation Grant. Check the Digital Transformation Grant entry and the information each city provides for specific eligibility criteria.
