Description:

The Oxford Young Entrepreneurs (OYE) Grant Program provides self-employment exploration opportunities, business planning support and grants of up to $1,000. This program exists to engage youth in Oxford County with meaningful, knowledge business-building activities to help them refine their concept.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is a grant of up to $1,000.

Eligibility:

Applicant must be:

  • be between the ages of 18-29;
  • be operating the business within Oxford County;
  • be operating for less than 5 years.

Preference will be given to:

  • sole-proprietors, although not mandatory (sole-proprietorships, partnerships, or incorporated);
  • applicants who have left Oxford County to pursue life experiences of any kind (travel, post secondary, etc.) and later returned to build their business in Oxford.
