Description:

Dairy Processing Investment Fund – Access to Expertise projects provides non-repayable contributions to dairy processors to engage private sector technical, managerial, and business expertise.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is up to $250,000.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:

  • For-profit organizations, including co-operatives, which are: small and medium cheese makers, large cheese makers and dairy processors involved in processing dairy products in Canada whose projects have benefits that accrue broadly
  • Not-for-profit organizations involved in or representing the dairy processing sector in Canada.

Applicants must submit a full application package which consists of:

  • Business Plan (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada template)
  • Copies of all financing agreements related to the project
  • Documentation in support of the costs detailed in the project budget, such as quotes, estimates or contracts
  • Financial statements for the past three years
  • Project Work Plan (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada template)
  • Project Budget (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada template)
  • Project Financing Plan (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada template)
  • Project Performance Information (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada template)
  • Pro Forma Financial Statements for three years after project completion (Capital Investment Project only)
  • Signed Application Form (Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada template)

Program no longer active at the beginning of 2021.
