The Nova Scotia Tour Operator Partnership Program (TOPP) is developed with the objective of increasing opportunities for the sale of Nova Scotia packaged product through the travel trade to consumers.

Comments on Funding:

Funding will be based on a 50/50 cost-sharing formula, unless otherwise negotiated.

Applicants must:

  • be national or international tour operators who have been in business for a minimum of one year,
  • make the project expenditures until March 31, 2020.

Applications Steps:


Applicants must complete the application form found online and submit it together with the required documentation.

Documentation Needed:

Applicant must submit:

  • a completed application form and a detailed listing of their Nova Scotia product (company brochure or website is sufficient),
  • a marketing plan with a detailed description of the proposed activities and specifically the marketing elements, and how they fit within the overall marketing plan,
  • specific details with regard to the costs of each activity,
  • full disclosure of any additional partnership funding related to the proposed activities, and,
  • an evaluation plan specifying how results will be measured and reported to Tourism Nova Scotia including acceptance of timelines.
