Description:

The Industrial Energy Management Program provides financial assistance for industrial energy management projects.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is up to 50% of eligible costs, to a maximum of $40,000. Total government funding is up to 75% of total eligible project costs.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:

  • industrial facilities that implement energy management projects, such as:
  • ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems Standard projects;
  • Energy Management Information Systems (EMIS) projects;
  • Process Integration (PI) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies.
  • CIPEC leaders (member companies and trade associations of the Canadian Industry Partnership for Energy Conservation (CIPEC)).

Other Things to Note:

Natural Resources Canada’s Industrial Energy Management program is now accepting applications for funding until January 28, 2022 at 23:59 ET for projects to be completed by March 31, 2023.
