EnterpRlSEing Youth Plus is designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs under 30 who self-identify as having experienced mental health and/or addiction challenges. This program is a hybrid program that combines the accessibility and flexibility of online learning with in-class support and coaching and a $300 start-up grant.

Funding is a $300 start-up grant.

Eligibility:

The applicant must:

  • have a practical idea to start or grow his own for-profit small business (any size, full or part-time/seasonal), and be looking to start this within the next 12 months,
  • Self-identify as having experienced mental health and/or addiction issue
  • Have difficulty accessing traditional bank financing for his small business
  • Be between the ages of 16 to 29.
  • commit to attend all course sessions and submit all assignments.

Applicants must apply online.

Other Things to Note:

  1. The EnterpRISEing Youth Plus is now accepting applications for Cohort 2 which will run on Jan 10 – Feb 28, 2023.
  2. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and will close approximately one week before the cohort start date.
