Description:
TAC Leaders Lab provides financing to arts professionals to participate to TAC Leaders Lab activities in order to enhance leadership capacity in Toronto’s arts and culture sectors.
TAC Leaders Lab participants will make a commitment to attend two orientation sessions in Toronto, a one-week intensive leadership retreat in Banff in Spring 2021, and ten monthly activities and exchanges in Toronto in 2021-22.
Comments on Funding:
Funding will cover all program costs, including:
- 1return flight and transfers from Toronto to Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity for one-week retreat,
- 2all meals and accommodations at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity,
- 3a stipend of $150 - $750 to cover business and personal costs during the program. The stipend will vary according to the employment status of the individual leader; those on salary from an organization will qualify for the lesser amount.
A TAC Accessibility grant will provide up to a maximum of $5,000 towards accessibility costs for artists incurred during the project.

Applications Steps:
Applicants must register to Toronto Arts Council's online grant application system and submit their applications during the intake period.
Programs are open to receive applications two to three months before the submission deadline. Applications remain available until 11:59:59 PM of the published deadline date.
Documentation Needed:
Program Guidelines will become available 3 months prior to the grant deadline.
Applicants with full time employment are asked to submit a letter of support from their employer confirming that they will be granted paid time off to attend the week in Banff and the monthly Toronto sessions.
Other Things to Note:
As a result of COVID-19, the intake date for the Leaders Lab program is to be determined.
