Description:
Launched in January 2017, the Western Accelerator, a four-month program, is an immersive education in entrepreneurship for new high-potential ventures. It is a critical component of the entrepreneurship ecosystem at Western University. It provides an intense, rapid and immersive education for prospective entrepreneurs. Its goal is to accelerate the life cycle of high potential ventures and to compress a year’s worth of learning into a few months for their entrepreneurs.

Accepted founders will receive $12,000 in funding.
There are two (2) cohorts per year.

Applications Steps:
Stage 1 – All teams are required to submit a written application via GUST platform.
Stage 2 – Applications are reviewed by an anonymous and diverse panel of Judges, and the top ranked teams will have the opportunity to pitch their business to a selection committee. Each team has five (5) minutes to pitch their startup, followed by five (5) minutes of Q&A.

5. Youtube Link to their 3-minute Investor Pitch Video;
6. Youtube Link to their 1-minute Marketing Video / Advertisement;
7. Investor Pitch Slide Deck.
