Business in the Streets – BITS Boot Camp

The BITS Boot Camp program works with emerging entrepreneurs to develop an actionable plan for existing businesses. Through the program, the applicants will receive:
1. hands-on business training where you will explore such areas as business planning, marketing and sales, accounting, and start-up funding and financing;
2. individual, personalized support from mentors;
3. opportunities to network with guest speakers and industry experts;
4. tailored feedback to refine and structure your business plan;
5. access to BITS Bucks $5,000 Micro Finance Program.

No funding involved.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • be aged between 18 to 34;
  • be Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Temporary Residents (Funding programs are only available for Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents);
  • have a personal net income of less than $35,000 per year;
  • live in the province of Ontario (Note: Priority will be given to applicants residing in The Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area).

Applicants must complete the application form.

Other Things to Note:

Applications for the Winter 2023 cohort are open.
Orientation will take place on January 21st, 2023 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Boot Camp will take place over 6 Saturdays from 11 am to 2 pm from January 28th to March 11th (excluding February 18th).
The graduation day and panel event will take place from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, March 18th.
