Description:
The BMO Launch Me Competition was created to support students and recent grads with seed funding to get their venture ideas off the ground. Fifteen contestants with the overall strongest business plan and pitch will have the opportunity to win a portion of funding for their startups.
The funds will be distributed in three categories:
- 1BMO Women Innovators Competition: For women-identifying entrepreneurs;
- 2BMO Groundbreaker Competition: For all current students;
- 3BMO New Graduate Startup Competition: For Humber graduates (within ~2 years graduation).

In total, students and alumni have the opportunity to win a portion of $135,000 in funding for their startups!

Submit a two minute video to the CfE’s email at cfe@humber.ca. Videos do not have to be professionally taken. Videos of interest are due on Tuesday, Oct. 12 by 11:59 p.m.
Attend the Program. The first workshop will begin on Thursday, Oct. 21 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Submit their Business Plan. This application is due on Monday, Jan. 24 by noon. Selected students and alumni will be invited to pitch in the BMO Launch Me pitch competition!

Other Things to Note:
The BMO Launch Me Program is designed to help students and recent alumni prepare for success in the BMO Launch Me competition. Complete a series of skill building workshops to prepare your business idea for launch, and submit your work for a chance to win funds. The first round of the competition is a business plan submission. Chosen finalists will move on to the finals with a five minute pitch to a panel of judges.
