Description:
The Velocity Fund Pitch Competition is Canada’s premier early-stage startup competition. Three times a year, early-stage startups compete to receive $50K investments from the Velocity Fund.
Comments on Funding:
Entrepreneurs that qualified in this contest, receive $50,000 in early-stage funding.
Early-stage startups in health tech may also be eligible to compete for an additional $50,000 investment from the Velocity Health Tech Fund.
Velocity invests in companies using a SAFE (simple agreement for future equity) agreement with MFN, no valuation cap, and no discount.
