Description:

The Emergency Business Support Program provides three types of loans to businesses in the Elgin County affected by COVID-19. These loans include:

  1. 1
    the E-Commerce Loan designed for existing businesses that can show how an e-commerce application or update will improve their bottom line;
  2. 2
    the Main Street & Tourism Loan designed for businesses that are still dealing with serious ongoing COVID impacts, and
  3. 3
    the Crisis Micro Loan which designed for those affected by COVID where a smaller dollar amount loan is enough to help with recovery efforts.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is:

  1. 1
    up to $40,000 with one full year of interest only payments for the E-Commerce Loan.
  2. 2
    up to $40,000 with no interest and no payments for 12 months for the Main Street & Tourism Loan. 
  3. 3
    up to $10,000 with 0% interest an no principle payments for one year for the Crisis Micro Loan.
