Description:

The Ontario Catapult Microloan Fund enables social entrepreneurs and innovators to grow their world-changing enterprises with access to capital and CSI’s existing programming and services.

Comments on Funding:

Funding ranges from $5,000 to $25,000.
The applicant will pay interest and other fees, if applicable.

Eligibility:

The applicant must:

  • Be a social enterprise/venture,
  • Be Ontario-based
  • Have fewer than 25 full-time employees
  • Have annual revenues, but under $2 Million,
  • Be addressing a social, environmental, economic, or cultural challenge.

The applicant must:

Documentation Needed:

The applicant must submit:

  • a business and a marketing plan,
  • financial projections (at minimum 3 years of cash flow projections broken down by months, and an actual one-year Profit & Loss statement),
  • details about the social impact and the innovation,
  • resume or CV or Bio.
  • credit Report OR Signed permission form to run a credit report.

Other Things to Note:

Program no longer active at the beginning of 2021.
