ShopHERE provides independent small businesses and artists in Mississauga with a quick, easy and no-cost way to get selling online right away.

Comments on Funding:

The ShopHERE program is free for participants to sign up and have a Shopify store built. Businesses will be responsible for the monthly Shopify fee after the initial 90-day trial.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • be independent small businesses and artists in Mississauga;
  • wish to have an online presence to sell goods and services;
  • have under 10 full time employees (25 if a restaurant);
  • be registered businesses in Ontario;
  • be home based or commercial businesses.

Other Things to Note:

ShopHERE is funded by the province of Ontario and key corporate sponsors to help Ontario businesses and artists get selling online. It is part of the Digital Main Street Program and available across Ontario.
