Description:

The Build2Scale Health is a program for teams developing an entrepreneurial venture in health innovation. The Dunin-Deshpande Queen’s Innovation Centre can provide selected teams with the mentorship, network, and financial support they need to succeed.

Comments on Funding:

Participants in the program will receive a stipend of $7,000 each (maximum 3 stipends available per team.)
Opportunities to compete for dedicated health innovation seed funding prizes and a grand prize of up to $30,000.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • be entrepreneurial teams developing an entrepreneurial venture;
  • be responding to unmet needs in the health sector (to “develop and deliver new or improved health policies, systems, products and technologies, and services and delivery methods that improve people’s health);
  • be working on innovations in preventive, promotive, therapeutic, rehabilitative, and/or assistive care. 

Early stage ideas are welcome!
