North Claybelt Community Futures Development Corporation(North Claybelt CFDC) – Northeastern Ontario Youth Internship Program (2021)

Description:

The Northeastern Ontario Youth Internship Program provides a wage subsidy of up to $31,500 to businesses for the eligible costs of salary, employee benefit expenses, training and training related travel costs for professional and business skills development for a period of 12 months in a full-time position.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is up to 50% (to a maximum of $31,500) for the eligible costs of salary, employee benefit expenses, training and training related travel costs for professional and business skills development for a period of 12 months in a full-time position.

Eligibility:

Applicant must be:

  • businesses in the North Claybelt Community Futures Development Corporation’s service area;
  • hire a post-secondary graduate in a full-time position.

Interns must be post-secondary graduates.

Other Things to Note:

North Claybelt Community Futures Development Corporation (NCCFDC) provides its services to the communities along the Highway 11 corridor from Opasatika (located between Hearst and Kapuskasing) to Iroquois Falls, Ontario. The communities serviced include Opasatika, Val Rita-Harty, Kapuskasing, Moonbeam, Fauquier-Strickland, Smooth Rock Falls, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls.
