The Affordable Housing Multi-Residential program offers incentives* to help you upgrade to high-efficiency equipment. Working with you at every step, our Energy Solutions Advisors are here to help you make capital improvement projects that will help you save energy and money and keep your building running optimally.

– Up to $8,000 per building for an on-site energy assessment (up to $40,000 per housing provider).

Eligibility:

Applicants must be:

1. social and municipal housing providers
2. shelters
3. co-ops and
4. eligible market-rate multi-residential buildings.
a. Eligible market-rate multi-residential buildings will need to demonstrate either at least 30 percent of units are rented at less than 80 percent of the median market rent (determined by comparing existing rent rolls to the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation rental data), or the building has participated in a federal, provincial, or municipal affordable housing funding program in the last five years.

Application Steps:

Applicants must:
1. contact Enbridge Gas Inc. to confirm their eligibility;
2. contact an Energy Solutions Advisor for free expertise and technical support to identify energy-saving opportunities for their building;
3. implement the recommendations by Energy Solutions Advisor;
4. have the on-site work completed at their building;
5. submit their completed incentive application form.

Documentation Needed:

1. Applicants must provide proof of purchase matched to installation address.
2. All forms and proof of purchase must be received by Enbridge Gas no later than Nov. 30, 2024.
