The British Columbia Salmon Restoration and Innovation Fund (BCSRIF) aims to:
ensure the fish and seafood sector in B.C. is positioned for long-term environmental and economic sustainability
support the protection and restoration of wild Pacific salmon and other fish stocks

Eligibility:
Applicants must be:
1. Indigenous groups
2. commercial enterprises, including fishers, aquaculturists and seafood processors
3. universities and academics
4. industry associations
5. other organizations, such as research institutions and stewardship groups
6. reside in British Columbia
7. be active in or support activities related to the fish and seafood harvesting, processing or aquaculture sectors
8. demonstrate protection and restoration benefits to priority BC wild stocks, such as salmon, or to the environmental or economic sustainability of the fisheries and seafood sector in British Columbia
Application Steps:
Funding applications must be submitted using the BCSRIF application form, and be accompanied by appropriate supporting documentation (e.g., relevant supplier quotes and confirmation of support from other sources, where applicable).
Documentation Needed:
Applicants must submit:
1. Complete project proposal
2. Financial statements
3. documents required as proof of legal status as per section A of the application
4. supplier quotes
5. copies of permissions (licenses, permits etc.) related to the project undertakings
6. landowner permission documents, if available at application
7. confirmation of partnerships and cash or in-kind support from other sources
