Description:

VAC’s Commemorative Partnership Program (CPP): Community War Memorial program provides funding to support the construction, restoration or expansion of a community war memorial.

Comments on Funding:

Funding is a contribution of:
– up to 50% of eligible expenditures, not exceeding a maximum of $25,000. A minimum of 25% of the applicant’s portion of the overall project cost must be cash, while up to 25% can be contributions made in-kind; and
– up to 100% of eligible expenditures, not exceeding a maximum of $50,000 for war memorial projects in Indigenous communities.

Applicants must be:
1. non-profit organizations; 2. for-profit organizations;
4. in Canada or abroad; 4. in Canadian provinces, territories and municipalities.

2. complete the application to be considered. VAC will acknowledge receipt of applications and may solicit additional information. Only applications deemed complete will be assessed.
Veterans Affairs Canada aims to notify applicants in writing of its funding decision within 12 weeks of the application deadline, provided that an application is deemed complete.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit the completed application with the required supporting information and a final report at the conclusion of the project
