The Indigenous Economic Development Fund (IEDF) provides grants and financing to Indigenous entrepreneurs, businesses, communities and organizations. The fund helps promote economic development and improve employment opportunities for Indigenous people.

Applicants must:

1. Create a My Ontario Account:
2. Register for Transfer Payment Ontario
3. Access to Transfer Payment Ontario
4. Submit for funding
5. Log in

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit:

1. Canada Revenue Agency Business Number (CRA BN), if you have one.
2. legal name of your organization that’s printed on official documents (for example, articles of incorporation or registered business applications)
3. operating name of your organization (your business name commonly used by your clients)
4. contact information for at least two contacts within the organization, including one senior contact with signing authority (for example, a director, controller or CEO and another member of your organization)
