Eligibility:

Applicants must be:

1. Individuals
2. professional composers
3. songwriters
4. music creators
5. Ontario residents

Application Steps:

Applicants must complete and submit an application in Nova, OAC’s online grant application system. You will be able to do this approximately two months before the deadline.

Documentation Needed:

Applicants must submit:
1. basic information about the project
2. answers to application questions
3. a project budget
4. artistic examples:
a. A minimum of two and a maximum of three audio or video examples
5. support documents:
a. artists’ résumés or bios (including a bio of the commissioner, for commissioning projects)
b. score excerpts or lyrics
c. a letter from the commissioner (for commissioning)
