Description:
Working with Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), FCC has created an incentive program open to eligible FCC customers who participate in DUC’s Marginal Areas Program.
Comments on Funding:
Incentive payments are calculated based on the lesser of:
A portion of your lending with FCC, to a maximum of $2,000 per year OR
$50 per acre registered in the DUC’s Marginal Areas Program
You can reapply annually throughout life of the program. PepsiCo, a global leader in food and beverages, will provide financial support to eligible producers. Incentive will equal up to 50% of the incentive producers already receive from FCC, up to a maximum of $1,000 per eligible application.
Applications are closed and will re-open in 2025.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
1. Be FCC customers in good standing with a balance owing on eligible, existing FCC lending
2. Have acres actively enrolled in DUC’s Marginal Areas Program at the time of application.
To be eligible for the additional PepsiCo incentive, participants must also:
1. Be located in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba
2. Grow oats or canola in their crop rotation
3. Be willing to provide additional information on the acres enrolled in DUC’s Marginal Areas Program.
